Round four of the County Championship is over with Kent the only winners as the other seven games end in draws.

A total of 16 centuries were scored over the final two days as the weather improved - and there was a thrilling last-ball finish at Trent Bridge where Yorkshire held out for a draw against Notts after earlier making a bold effort to chase down a target of 320.

Notts are the new leaders of Division One, one point ahead of Warwickshire, who were not involved in this round of matches. In Division Two, Essex hold a 21-point advantage over Leicestershire following their draw against Worcestershire at New Road, where Alastair Cook scored another hundred.

Last man Jack Brooks pushes his first ball for four through the vacant offside. What can Stuart Broad produce with the finally delivery of the game? It hits Brooks on the pads, but there's an inside edge there and Yorkshire have survived. An absolutely exhilarating final session at Trent Bridge - 10 points apiece for the two sides.

Six deliveries to go, Notts need two wickets. Stuart Broad has the ball. Number 10 Steven Patterson is on strike. Harry Gurney has finished with 4-52.

When Jonny Bairstow was batting Stuart Broad was aiming anywhere but at the stumps, now the first five are right on target as he tries to carry his side a thrilling victory. 

Adil Rashid gets solidly behind every one, and then lets the last one go as Broad leaks it down leg-side. Yorkshire have only two more overs to survive.

That appears to be that with Yorkshire now content to push for ones. They need 69 off six overs to win.

Liam Plunkett slices a catch to cover and Yorkshire need 73 from seven for victory, but only have four wickets left. Captain Andrew Gale is next to the crease - what instructions does he have for partner David Willey?

Yorkshire need 80 of the last eight overs for victory over Notts. Liam Plunkett is six not out, with David Willey on three.

Despite a 310-run first-innings lead, Leicestershire are unable to follow the success of the city's football team and world snooker champion Mark Selby by forcing a victory as Sussex bat through the final day on a benign pitch at Hove to secure a draw. 

Chris Nash's 144 was the focal point of their rearguard effort, with Ed Joyce (69) and Ross Taylor (62) also making significant contributions. Another encouraging performance, though, by the Foxes, for whom Charlie Shreck took 2-62 and they take 12 points to Sussex's six.

A determined final-day effort by Durham does not bring the reward of victory as Ben Foakes (36*) and Gareth Batty (17*) secure a draw for Surrey at The Oval. Paul Collingwood's 106 not out and three wickets by Ben Stokes put the visitors in the ascendancy, but they were unable to press home their advantage, with Tom Curran playing a mature innings of 54 for the home side. Durham take 12 points and Surrey 11.

Alex Lees puts away a bouncer from Stuart Broad for his 13th four to bring up a 116-ball century. Following his 92 in the first innings, it's been a tremendous match for the left-handed opener - 104 needed from 11.3 overs.

Having been swept for six by Jonny Bairstow is now aiming as far outside off stump as he dares without conceding wides as Yorkshire continue to pursue an unlikely victory. Liam Plunkett is padded up in the pavilion, and you can bet David Willey won't be far behind him. Another 121 are needed from 13.
