Lee McGregor v Erik Robles
Scottish boxer Josh Taylor tells Channel 5: “Both fighters put up a great match.
“I think in the end, and Lee’s a good friend of mine, I think the better man won.
“Lee held his feet too much and let him hit body a bit too much.
“He was just standing and holding his feet and not taking a half step back maybe at times.
“It was an absolute barnstormer, I thought it was an entertaining fight, a great fight.
“I’m gutted for my pal Lee in a title fight but he will come back.
“He’ll make adjustments and he’ll be back."

It's going to the final round. 11 rounds in and it's still a stand-up bout with punches being traded.
Not much happened in that round compared to the previous few, perhaps both have an eye on a big finish in the next three minutes.
Time to make yourself a champion.

A cagey affair this round, but consistent body shots from the Scot and precise and penetrating.
Robles rallied valiantly, however, but both fighters took extended loops back to facing each other as the energy begins to zap out of them.

McGregor's corner have likely been giving him instructions to, basically, take Robles' fight to him.
Throw combinations back and work him with some hooks. And, in fairness, he has.
The fight's definitely not quite at the level of electric pace it started out with, but the intensity remains.
Time for McGregor to capitalise if he wants a win in his neck of the woods.
His best round of the contest.
Lee McGregor v Erik Robles
McGregor, as aforementioned, likes to start slower and find his way into the contest. He's going to have to take it up a step.
Halfway through the bout if we get all 12 rounds and Robles is showing experience beyond what is age of 23, or his record, suggests he may possess.

Better from the Scot.

No rolling with the punches for the fighter from Mexico, his feet remain planted as he stays close yet again allowing the uppercut to work a treat.

No time for warming up now as the noisy crowd are in full voice for McGregor.

Lee 'Lightning' McGregor makes his way to the ring.
A St Andrew's cross with a Lion rampant in the middle follows him in.
A brief few notes of the Braveheart theme tune, an inspirational speech, and then some music kicks in.
The first bell is close.
Lee McGregor v Erik Robles
Robles is out first accompanied by a Mexican flag being walked in a few paces behind him. Despite the flag and his choice of music, it's fair to say he won't feel at home.
An ever so slightly hostile crowd, as they await their hometown hero, give him a resounding boo.
