Some excellent news for GB coming out of the table tennis, as they beat China 2-1 in the tie to win bronze. 

Ross Wilson and Aaron McKibbin won their doubles first up, before China squared it up through Shuai Zhao's singles win over Ross Wilson.

It all came down to McKibbin's singles then, and he delivered in dramatic style against Churen Sun. The match went the distance before a 12-10 win in the fifth and final game gave GB yet another medal.

Sadio Mane's lightning fast speed and technical abilities have already lit up the Premier League, which raises the question: how will Chelsea be able to cope with the Liverpool man?

Perhaps they could use this mash-up for some intel.

There have been so many amazing performances by British athletes at the Rio Paralympics and now the team's flag-bearer Lee Pearson can proudly claim to have delivered his own.

His freestyle win - aboard Zion - was incredible. Ahead of the event Pearson - a 10-time Paralympic champion prior to the event - told me he was looking for a medal of any colour, such is the standard of competition compared to four years ago.

"This is the stuff of dreams," Pearson tells me on BBC Radio 5 Live. "I know what I said about any medal, but as athletes we are obviously always fighting for the gold really.

"We went for it, I didn't care if the judges liked what we did out there today because it was about us going out there and enjoying it.

"Zion has been on a journey just like me. The selectors weren't sure about him, he wasn't on the performance programme at one stage and I had to go and prove it myself that he was up to the standard."

'A glass of champagne to celebrate tonight Lee?' I ask... "No, I'm not posh enough for champagne," he says with a little giggle.

Pearson now has 11 Paralympic gold medals to his name and 14 in total.

GB finish their mixed wheelchair rugby Group A with a win, beating Brazil 52-32. Jim Roberts scored 27 of GB's goals as the team finish third in the table and go into the fifth-sixth play-off match.

With the Chelsea v Liverpool match creeping up on us fast - this Friday night football is a real mind-bender - it's approaching last orders to get your full Premier League predictions quota in for the weekend.

Amid all the golds, let's not forget the silvers. David Stone, 35, comes in a close second in the men's road race T1-2, just behind Hans-Peter Durst of Germany. 

The Brit also had to hold off the challenge of Colombian Nestor Ayala Ayala, who took bronze.

Lee Pearson will be next to have gold shining off his chest, as he wins the Individual freestyle test Grade 1B. The team flagbearer clocked a score of 77.4 on his horse Zion to win ahead of Pepo Puch and Fontainenoir.

It's looking good for the GB wheelchair rugby team, as they are 41-23 up against Brazil in the fourth period of their mixed event Group A match.

GB lost their first two matches to Australia and Canada.

Chelsea have had a good start, I think they will do much better this season. 

With John Terry out, will David Luiz come in and do a job? 

Clearly the jury is out on him. They are looking back to their best going forward but defensively the big question is how will Luiz perform?

That's what happened to GB against the Netherlands in the women's wheelchair basketball bronze medal match.

It finished 76-34. The Dutch were excellent.

The fall-out from the failure of Britain's 4x400m wheelchair relay, including David Weir, to qualify for the Paralympic final continues...

There has been some miscommunication. British Athletics have told us that the athletics knew the qualification criteria where the four fastest overall went through, but Richard Chiassaro and Nathan Maguire, in their post-race interviews said they thought it was top two to go through.

If the guys thought that then there may have been some miscommunication.

That's it. Britain's "Dominant" David Smith has thrashed Dutchman Daniel Perez 5-0 in the boccia mixed individual BC1 final.

David Weir didn't look like he was flat out but even if you know qualification criteria, you look at the times and you should be able to think what your splits need to be to get there.

A couple of days ago in an interview, David said things weren't right out here and he eluded to a couple of things. There are things going on behind the scenes that he isn't happy with.

This relay was a potential medal for GB and there has been a lot of investment in this event over the last couple of years.

What the sport needs to do is listen to Dave. He has so much experience and they need to find out what the problem is and it needs to be fixed.

After two ends it's 2-0 to Brit David Smith against Dutchman Daniel Perez after two ends in the mixed individual BC1 final.

He can smell the gold. 

Apparently Smith's been studying Aerospace Engineering - so in this case the sky isn't the limit. Or something.

It looks as if the women's wheelchair basketball team will be leaving Rio without a medal.

They are currently 52-28 down against the Dutch after the third period of their bronze medal match. Do they have a Teenwolf-like player they can bring on?

However, fourth would still be a superb achievement for a young team with four teenagers.

Andy Murray has taken the third set for a 2-1 lead against Juan Martin del Potro in the Davis Cup tie between Great Britain and Argentina.
