Nottingham Panthers: Mike Berube moves to Elite League

Nottingham Panthers have signed experienced Canadian defenceman Mike Berube for the 2014/15 season.

Coach Corey Neilson was thrilled to recruit the 26-year-old left-hander.

Neilson told the club website:, external "He has five full years of pro hockey under his belt. He plays with an edge and sticks up for his team-mates when necessary.

"He knows his role and we know he'll make good simple puck decisions, play hard against skilled players, block shots and kill penalties."
