Tottenham Hotspur's likelihood of getting relegated significantly increased following their defeat by Fulham last time out but Igor Tudor's side still remain one of the favourites to stay up out of the bottom six.

They have a 18.09% chance of playing Championship football next season according to Opta's supercomputer, while Leeds United have the strongest odds of staying up with just a 7.55% likelihood of being relegated.

Despite a recent upturn in form, Wolves are still predicted to be almost certainties for the drop with a 99.90% chance, while Burnley aren't far behind with 99.45%.

Of the remaining two, it's West Ham that are currently favourites to take the third and final relegation spot with 48.77% while Nottingham Forest are given a 26.13% likelihood of getting relegated.

Burnley

A final word from Burnley boss Scott Parker, who was asked about having a duty of care towards young players while under so much pressure and scrutiny: "This year may be a failure. It has been a failure to this point. And that's true, very true, because we wouldn't want to be in this situation what we're currently in, and we wanted to have won more games, and we've not.

"But the bigger picture is always for me, longer term is we also have a responsibility to these young men, they're starting off, some of them in their career, going through different phases of their career, that I need to help and support them.

"Now, if that means that I have to be sacrificed for that, or I fell along that way, then that's fine, as long as I do, what I believe is right at this moment time, is make these people better and make this team better for the long run, really grit, resilience, again, another core value of mine that will put us in good stead."

Burnley

He says Walker is "fully committed to Burnley" and there is no worries of him leaving Burnley.

Burnley boss Scott Parker on team news: "Marcus [Edwards] has been training this week. [Zian] Fleming as well has been training this week. So both, while early on in the week, they were on modified [training], they've trained the back end of the week, so both of them will have to see where we go into from tomorrow, to see if they're fully up to speed to go into a full game.

"We'll make that decision closer to Saturday."

Relegation-threatened Tottenham have given their fans "an extended period" to decide if they want to renew their season tickets amid the "seriousness of the current league position" of their men's team.

Spurs gave their supporters until Tuesday, 27 May last year - two days after the end of the 2024-25 Premier League season - to decide if they wanted to renew for the present campaign.

This time around, fans did have until Tuesday, 26 May - two days after this season's final league match to renew - but, in a message sent to fans, they are now giving them between Thursday, 12 March until Sunday, 7 June to reach a decision.

Tottenham, who have lost their past five league games and face a trip to Liverpool on Sunday, are just one point above the relegation zone with nine games remaining.

"We recognise the seriousness of the current league position of our men's team," said the message sent to supporters by Spurs.

They added that "following discussions with our fan advisory board and the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust" they "can confirm the renewal window for 2026-27 will now remain open for an extended period until Sunday, 7 June to ensure fans have full clarity on next season before renewing".

"Everyone at the club remains absolutely steadfast in our collective commitment to improve our Premier League position and finish the current season as strongly as possible," said Tottenham.

Sunderland

When you're down at the bottom, you need all the luck you can get.

So it feels like a huge blow for West Ham to miss their in-form forward Crysencio Summerville.

He's scored in six of their last nine Premier League games and without his goals, West Ham would be four points worse off.

Summerville's form has been so good that Netherlands head coach Ronald Koeman has hinted that he'll be calling up the 24-year-old to his squad later this month.

Nuno didn't say how long Summerville will be out for, but to miss their home match against a Man City side on the ropes, he could well have been the difference.
