Queen's Park's Scottish Championship match with Ross County was postponed shortly before kick-off because of a frozen pitch at The City Stadium.
The game was called off around 15 minutes prior to the scheduled 19:45 GMT start.
Spiders head coach Sean Crighton told BBC Scotland: "There are a lot of areas that aren't safe for the players.
"We're absolutely gutted the game's off. It's not great but, at the end of the day, players' safety's paramount.
"It's not an ideal situation for anybody."
County assistant Callum Davidson added: "Safety's the most important thing. We're really disappointed the game's off.
"It's a sensible decision. That's football, so we'll just prepare for the next game."
