    Newcastle 2-0 Qarabag (8-1 agg)

Eight-one down on aggregate is not the time for the goalkeeper to produce a drag back when under pressure from a striker. Luckily for Qarabag stopper Mateusz Kochalski, William Osula can't take advantage and the keeper gets away with some needless dawdling.

    Inter 0-0 Bodo/Glimt (1-3 agg)

Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi has been the driving force behind Inter so far, making plenty of intelligent runs into the penalty area.

He connects with a pass into the box and stumbles under contact, but to his credit, doesn't go down. If he had he would have given the referee a decision to make.

That looked like Harvey Barnes went down rather easily. There didn't look to be any real contact and he threw himself to the floor.

Bodo really are the dark horses

    Matthew, Leeds

Bodo/Glimt's performances since beating us have been a consolation. We were awful but they've proven they didn't just beat a weak, wasteful side. They legitimately deserved the win, I hope they can continue their form tonight and take out Inter Milan.

    Newcastle 2-0 Qarabag (8-1 agg)

Harvey Barnes dances into the Qarabag penalty area and goes down under the challenge, but there's no complaints at not getting the penalty. It is 8-1 after all, so it doesn't really matter.

    Yet another chance for Inter.

Marcus Thuram leads a breakaway down the left, before cutting side and letting fly. His strike takes a deflection and flies just over the bar.

The home side are laying siege to the visitor's goal.

It's starting to look like a cricket score! Hard for Qarabag to motivate themselves for this one.

Shoutout to all the travelling Qarabag supporters. Belted at home and bleak start here. Hope their team don’t roll over tonight.

“Is this the way to Barcelona?" the home support repeatedly sing. "Bayern Munich? Lazio? Roma?

"Geordie boys are taking over – Champions League awaits for me."

Newcastle United could meet Barcelona in the last 16, of course, or Chelsea.

    Inter 0-0 Bodo/Glimt (1-3 agg)

Marcus Thuram latches onto a defence-splitting pass to find himself through on goal, but the Inter striker curls his first-time effort wide.

As it happens, the flag goes up for offside.

Federico Dimarco curls a strike towards the far top corner but Nikita Haikin tips over the bar. That was travelling!

The resulting corner finds the head of Davide Frattesi, but a Bodo/Glimt defender clears off the line.

The hosts are dominating this one.

Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe is not showing Qarabag any mercy.

Even at 2-0, he's roared "come on!" at his players to win the ball back quicker.

Newcastle United have picked up where they left off against Qarabag.

Remarkably, Eddie Howe's side have raced into a 2-0 lead even quicker than they did in Baku when they were two goals up after just eight minutes last week.

Qarabag manager Gurban Gurbanov shakes his head on the touchline.

    On the first goal...

Great start from Newcastle. Qarabag just camped around the box and Osula should've scored with the first header.

It's a good save but Sandro Tonali is there.

Just the start Eddie Howe would've wanted.

    On the second goal...

I think this could be a long night for Qarabag. It's a lovely ball from Harvey Barnes.

The finish is devastating. Right foot volley, crashes it into the roof of the net by Joelinton.

There's a lot of Qarabag defenders who are back and not doing an awful lot.

    Awful start from Qarabag.

Bayer Leverkusen 0-0 Olympiacos (2-0 agg)

No it's the turn of Olympiacos to attack.

A corner is played along the ground to Chiquinho at the edge of the penalty area, but he sweeps his first time shot over the bar.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:07 GMT

Bayer Leverkusen 0-0 Olympiacos (2-0 agg)

Patrik Schick goes close again, and really ought to do better!

The Bayer Leverkusen striker chases a ball over the top and wins the foot race with the defenders. He spots Olympiacos goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis off his line and goes for the lob, but the effort doesn't have enough on it and the keep scurries back to collect.

    Joelinton

It's going to be a painful game for Qarabag. Newcastle get their second goal inside six minutes and this is a fine finish from Joelinton, meeting a cross from Harvey Barnes and doing well to control the volley and fire it into the roof of the net.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:05 GMT

Bayer Leverkusen 0-0 Olympiacos (2-0 agg)

Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick sored a double in the first leg last week, and he goes close to scoring his third of this tie.

A cross comes in from the right flank, but the Czech striker's glancing header drifts narrowly wide of the target.
