  1. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 62 mins

    Norwich 1-1 Coventry

Josh Eccles and Tatsuhiro Sakamoto are coming on for the visitors with Romain Esse, who has been quiet since the break, but opened the scoring for the visitors, and Brandon Thomas-Asante, to a chorus of boos after his earlier clash with Pelle Mattsson, heading off.

We're in for some final half-hour at Carrow Road.

The intensity has just dropped for a few moments, but I'll bet it's the calm before the storm.

  3. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 56 mins

    Norwich 1-1 Coventry

    HOW?

The free-kick is inviting from Victor Torp and is glanced on at the near post by defender Jose Cordoba before being thundered into the crossbar at the back stick by the head of Ephron Mason-Clark before being hacked clear.

Norwich have got to keep feeding Makama.

Their centre-halves do not want to engage with him.

He's bullying them, he's throwing them around and they can't handle his pace.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 55 mins

    Norwich 1-1 Coventry

Brandon Thomas-Asante is not the most popular man in Norfolk tonight. He gets flattened by Jose Cordoba on the Coventry right and the Colombian picks up a card the colour of his shirt.

  7. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Norwich 1-1 Coventry

Kellen Fisher makes a vital intervention, sliding in to prevent Haji Wright's effort from Victor Torp's deliciously-weighted through-ball rolling in after sneaking past Vlad Kovacevic, or being tucked in by the lurking Ephron Mason-Clark at the far post either.

Great reading of the game. Football's the winner all round, there.

    Norwich 1-1 Coventry

Is this a good time to remind you Coventry are winless in six away games in all competitions and haven't won at Carrow Road since 2009 - when 30-year-old Frank Lampard was busy setting records for Chelsea?

Inspired substitutions - even if they had nothing to do with the goal!

You can hear now, the belief is oozing out of Carrow Road.

  10. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Norwich 1-1 Coventry

You can see Norwich crackling with confidence once again, Anis Ben Slimane in particular playing one-touch passes into space... he's on a higher wavelength than his team-mates this time though and the ball rolls out of play for a goal kick.

  11. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Norwich 1-1 Coventry

Jovon Makama shows great strength and poise to win, hold and keep the ball before spinning into the Coventry box from the left but after being urged to shoot by the home fans has his low, angled shot charged-down by Liam Kitching.

GOAL: Norwich 1-1 Coventrypublished at 46 mins

    Anis Ben Slimane

    34 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ali Ahmed slides a gorgeous pass in behind for Anis Ben Slimane who manages to drop Carl Rushworth to his backside, wriggles to his left and fires in a low shot from an angle which the sliding Jay Dasilva can only slam into the roof of the net on the line.

The Tunisian's third game in a row with a goal. He didn't feature until November this season.

    Carrow Road has come alive.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:06 GMT

  15. So far, so good...published at 21:01 GMT

    HT: Norwich 0-1 Coventry

We mentioned pre-match that Coventry are winless in 11 games against Norwich, dating back to a 2-1 win at Carrow Road in February 2009.

The Sky Blues have lost the past three encounters in Norfolk and have never lost four straight in their history.

I'll tell you one thing now for free, we haven't seen the end of the scoring in this one...

Great goal for us, Canaries have stopped singing now! To be fair they have dominated the game so far but that has turned the tide for the Sky Blues. PUSB.

The keeper was never stopping that. How on earth Glasner let Esse go I’ll never know.

How lucky are Coventry? second best all half, Norwich hit post and Thomas-Asante should have been red-carded for swinging elbow on Norwich defender.

    Andy, Hereford

Asante should be off for elbowing Mattsson in the face, he knew what he was doing.

    Adam, Norwich

How the referee or linesman hasn’t spotted that is unbelievable, clearest red you’ll see.

    Andy Marshall
Former Norwich goalkeeper on BBC Radio Norfolk

Without a shadow of a doubt, Norwich have caused Coventry plenty of problems.

The lads have done great, don't be despondent.

They just need a bit more confidence in front of goal.

  19. 'City have lost their shape'published at 20:52 GMT

    HT: Norwich 0-1 Coventry

    Rob Gurney
    BBC Radio CWR Sport

Sometimes, out of possession, Coventry have lost their shape a few times.

That's something I've noticed a few times in this first half and something to sort out after the break.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:50 GMT

    Norwich 0-1 Coventry

Romain Esse's strike has Coventry looking at a six-point lead at the top of the Championship, as things stand.

Coventry began brightly but Norwich took over, piling on the pressure and coming closest to breaking the deadlock as Jose Cordoba thumped the base of the post with a powerful low strike from a well-worked corner.

However the effervescent Romain Esse lashed home from an angle after wriggling free in the box to put the Sky Blues ahead and Haji Wright was denied a second by Vlad Kovacevic after a neat Esse flick.

Norwich will need to do what they did on 4 January, 2025, score twice to beat Coventry at Carrow Road. They scored those goals after 91 and 95 minutes last season.
