Good evening! It's time for another Friday night of Bundesliga action.
Tonight, it's a meeting between two sides separated by ten positions in the league table as 12th placed Union Berlin welcome second in the table RB Leipzig.
Union Berlin can move into the top half of the table with three points, while RB Leipzig need a win if they are to have any hope of pressuring league leaders Bayern Munich into letting their position at the top slip.

These two sides have met 17 times in all competitions, with Leipzig coming out on top on eight of those occasions, losing six and drawing three. Of those three draws, two came last season as both sides failed to score in either fixture.
Image source, Getty ImagesUnion Berlin are struggling for form, having picked up just five points from their last six matches. Their only win in those six matches came on the road against strugglers St. Pauli, and their last home win was in October against a struggling Borussia Monchengladbach.
Despite their recent struggle for form, Union are currently sat in 12th in the table and a win on Friday night could see them jump up to eighth. The Berlin side will take comfort in the fact that they are unbeaten at home on a Friday for six years, having won seven of their nine matches in that time.
RB Leipzig, on the other hand, have nine wins in their last 12 Bundesliga matches, drawing twice and losing just once. Without European football to contend with in midweek, Leipzig have been able to find better form this season, with them also in the quarterfinals for the DFB-Pokal.
However, Leipzig do not like playing on a Friday night. Their two Friday night fixtures this season have ended without them scoring, having been thumped 6-0 at Bayern Munich on the opening night and then drawing to Borussia Monchengladbach on matchday 12. These are the only two times this season Leipzig have failed to find the back of the net.

The Dutch centre-back is Union Berlin’s joint-highest goal scorer this season with four goals to his name, scoring all four in his last seven Bundesliga appearances. Adding another on Friday will equal his best goal scoring record in a Bundesliga campaign.
Yan Diomande will be looking to continue his fine form, in which he has eight goal contributions in his last six matches, six goals and two assists. The 19-year-old became the second youngest player to score a hattrick in the Bundesliga after his man of the match performance against Leverkusen last time out.
