Teenager Viktor Dadason was on target again as Copenhagen secured their first Champions League win of the season by defeating visitors Kairat Almaty.
The 17-year-old striker opened the scoring in the 26th minute on his first Champions League start, before second-half goals from Jordan Larsson - son of former Sweden and Celtic striker Henrik - and Robert Silva pulled them further ahead.
Icelandic forward Dadason, who only made his Danish Superliga debut against Silkeborg on 17 October, is yet to start or score in the domestic league, but now has two goals in three appearances in Europe.
A strong finish from Kairat had the hosts worried, though, as Chelsea-bound forward Dastan Satpaev and substitute Olzhas Baybek netted, but the Kazakh champions are still winless in the competition and remain second bottom in the standings.
Kairat sat back and counter-attacked, and that ploy almost paid off as Satpaev - who became the youngest player to start the first five games of a Champions League season at 17 years and 106 days - delivered a delightful cross that was dragged wide by Edmilson.
However, Dadason, who became the third-youngest player after Ansu Fati and Lamine Yamal to score in the competition last month, made the first real impact in the contest as he headed home from close range after Silva's initial effort was saved by Temirlan Anarbekov.
The Kairat keeper then made a double stop to deny Copenhagen captain Viktor Claesson and Dadason, while Satpaev's shot from distance whistled narrowly wide.
Kairat were denied an equaliser when Erkin Tapalov rattled the crossbar, but Jacob Neestrup's Copenhagen side restored the two-goal cushion when Larsson converted from the penalty spot in the 59th minute after a harsh handball on Damir Kasabulat inside the box.
Silva made it 3-0 in the 73rd minute as his shot beat Anarbekov after taking a wicked deflection off Kasabulat.
But Satpaev - who will join Premier League Chelsea next year when he turns 18 - sparked an exciting finale when he pulled a goal back with nine minutes left.
The young forward stole possession from keeper Dominik Kotarski and finished into an empty net, before substitute Baybek scored his side's second in the 90th minute.
Copenhagen moved up to 29th in the 36-team league phase with four points from five matches, while Kairat remain on one point and only Ajax below them.
What's next for these teams?
Kairat Almaty will return to Champions League action on Tuesday, 9 December when they host Olympiacos (15:30 GMT), while Copenhagen will travel to face Villarreal on Wednesday, 10 December (17:45 GMT).
