Impish grins and Dons delightpublished at 22:15 GMT 10 March
Image source, ShutterstockWell, it was a good night to be a fan of Lincoln City or Leyton Orient.
The Imps won at Exeter and now hold a four-point lead at the top of League One after second-placed Cardiff were held 1-1 by Barnsley.
Orient, meanwhile, came from behind to win away at Stevenage to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
Doncaster got a point against Luton to boost their fight against the drop, while fellow strugglers Wigan were defeated 3-0 at home by Plymouth. Mansfield got themselves three points against Reading, who missed an opportunity to get into the top six.
Overall, there were 25 goals in our 10 matches across Leagues One and Two – and 20% of those were scored by MK Dons.
They thrashed Gillingham 5-1 to narrow the gap on leaders Bromley to two points.
Fabio Borini rolled back the years to give Salford a win over Walsall, Bristol Rovers beat struggling Barrow, while Cheltenham hit back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Fleetwood.
Tomorrow, there’s key fixtures at the top and bottom of League One, as play-off contenders Bradford host FA Cup heroes Port Vale, who need to start winning in the league, and AFC Wimbledon host Blackpool, who are looking over their shoulders.
Plus there’s six Championship matches, including leaders Coventry taking on Preston.
We will bring you live coverage of all those games.
Until then, thank you for joining us and enjoy the rest of your night. Goodbye!
