After losing their first ever Football League game 1-0 against Oldham Athletic in September, Bromley will be looking to avoid losing their first two EFL matches against the same side for just the fifth time after suffering that fate vs Bradford City, Crewe Alexandra, Grimsby Town and Tranmere Rovers
This will be Oldham Athletic’s first away Football League game against a side from London since a 4-0 loss to Leyton Orient in September 2021. Overall, they’ve won on just one of their last 17 visits to the capital in the EFL (D7 L9), a 2-1 success against Sutton United in August 2021.
This will be Bromley’s third Football League game played on a Sunday, after drawing 1-1 with Swindon in December 2024 and losing 4-1 to Crewe in January 2025.
Oldham have failed to win their opening away Football League game of a calendar year since beating Fleetwood 2-0 in January 2015, losing five of their seven such matches since then (D2).
