Chesterfield sign full-back Pearce

Chesterfield have signed former Wigan Athletic full-back Tom Pearce on an 18-month deal.

The 27-year-old was a free agent after leaving MLS side Montreal at the end of their season in October.

Pearce, who started his senior career with Leeds United, worked under Spireites boss Paul Cook at the Latics.
