Cheltenham Town have signed left-back George Nurse while striker Jake Bickerstaff has also agreed a permanent deal with the League Two club.
Nurse left Shrewsbury Town by mutual consent earlier on Thursday before joining the Robins on a contract until the end of the season.
He made almost 100 Shrewsbury appearances, having joined them in 2021 under then Salop manager Steve Cotterill, who he links back up with at Cheltenham.
The 26-year-old has spent much of this season on loan at Yeovil Town and Solihull Moors in the National League, although he did play five games for the Shrews in August.
After missing much of the past few seasons due to two anterior cruciate ligament injuries, Nurse said he was looking to get "consistency back".
"I've worked with the gaffer before and I've got a lot to thank him for in my career - I'm really looking forward to working with him again," the former Bristol City defender said.
Bickerstaff, meanwhile, originally signed on loan from Wrexham in August but has now agreed a deal until the summer of 2027.
The 24-year-old has scored two goals in 28 games for the Robins.
