Chang rejoins Walsall after Birmingham exit

Walsall have signed midfielder Alfie Chang on a deal to the end of the season after his contract with Birmingham City was cancelled.

Chang played eight games during a loan spell with the Saddlers last season, scoring his only goal in a 2-0 play-off semi-final win at Chesterfield.

He has been on loan at Bristol Rovers this term, making 16 league appearances, but was recalled by Birmingham earlier this month.

"We're right in the mix again this season and myself and the team will be going all out for promotion, that's the main goal and I'm looking forward to playing my part," Chang told the Walsall website., external

He will be available for Saturday's away game against Chesterfield.
