Tranmere Rovers forward Connor Jennings has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club.
The deal comes after the club announced the 34-year-old has suffered a serious knee injury to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), medial collateral ligament (MCL) and meniscus.
The club did not specify the amount of time he would be sidelined for, but said it would be a "long period".
Jennings, who is in his second spell with Tranmere, has made a cumulative 297 appearances for the club including 33 this season.
