Gillingham have signed Northern Ireland striker Ronan Hale from Scottish club Ross County on a two-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old joined the Scottish Championship side from Northern Irish club Cliftonville in the summer of 2024 and scored 18 goals in all competitions in his debut season for the Staggies.

That form helped him earn a call-up to the senior Northern Ireland squad and he made his debut by starting the 1-0 international friendly win against Iceland in Belfast last June.

Despite being born in Belfast, Hale had previously represented Republic of Ireland at under-17 and under-19 levels.

"It's the place I want to be to play my football and I can't wait to get started," Hale told Gillingham's club website., external

Gillingham hold a club option to extend Hale's deal by a further year from the summer of 2028.
