Stevenage have signed midfielder Joe Knight from Brighton & Hove Albion for what the League One club say is an "undisclosed six-figure fee".
Knight, 20, came through the Seagulls' academy and made 28 appearances for their reserves, as well as a brief Premier League debut as a late substitute against Leeds United in November.
The deal was announced three hours before Stevenage's away game at Barnsley on Saturday.
He is their third transfer-window signing following defender Jack Taylor and forward Harry Cornick.
Details of Knight's contract have not been disclosed by the club.
