Southampton have signed striker Cyle Larin on loan from RCD Mallorca with an option to buy in the summer.
This is the 30-year-old's first venture into English football having previously played at the likes of Besiktas, Orlando City and Feyenoord, where he was on loan last season.
Larin has played 15 times so far this campaign and scored one goal which came in the Europa League.
He has 87 caps and 30 goals for the Canada national side and sits second in the country's all-time top scorers list.
"I feel happy to be here, to come and help the club," Larin told the club website., external
"I've had a warm welcome from the staff, and I'm excited to meet the players and the fans.
"The way the club plays I think fits with my style – we create a lot of opportunities and that's what a striker loves.
"I know a lot of good strikers have played here before, and I think I can bring a lot to Southampton."
