Mikel Arteta has confirmed Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie will both miss the first leg of Arsenal's semi-final with Chelsea on Wednesday.

Hincapie has not featured since being substituted in the 0-0 draw with Liverpool earlier this month, while Calafiori has not been available for selection since he dropped out of the warm-up before the Premier League match against Brighton in late December.

"He's progressing, but we don't know," Arteta said when asked about Calafiori. "I think it will matter for a few weeks probably, but we don't know exactly when.

Arteta also revealed that Leandro Trossard and William Saliba are both doubts for the game, with the pair also missing from the squad for Arsenal's win over Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Sunday.

To increase injury problem at the back, Cristhian Mosquera has been out since picking up an ankle injury against Brentford in December.

Further up the pitch, Max Dowman is also still "weeks away" as he recovers from an ankle injury picked up in a friendly.
