QPR have been dealt a blow as top scorer Rumarn Burrell has been ruled out until March after picking up an injury in Sunday's 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
Burrell, 25, scored the opening goal for the Hoops before landing awkwardly after going for a header, and was replaced after 21 minutes.
The Jamaica international has made a great start to life at Loftus Road, scoring 10 goals and forming a strong partnership with Richard Kone in Julien Stephan's attack.
He has played in all 26 Championship matches for the Hoops, making the starting line-up in 21 games.
"Rumarn Burrell suffered a contact injury in the game. The striker will undergo further assessment but at this stage is not expected to return before March," QPR said in a statement on their website., external

Ilias Chair has not played for QPR since limping off against West Bromwich Albion at the start of December
Burrell's injury was one of a number of problems that emerged from the win over Wednesday for Stephan.
Defender Liam Morrison was injured in the warm-up and replaced by Steve Cook in the starting XI before Burrell and midfielder Jonathan Varane both had to be withdrawn in the first half.
Kwame Poku, who missed much of the start of the season with a hamstring injury since moving to the club from Peterborough United last summer, did not come back out after half-time, with the club stating the forward has sustained another hamstring injury.
Morrison was taken out of the game as a precaution and is expected to return to training next week, the club said.
Varane picked up a "minor knee sprain during the fixture and is being monitored ahead of a potential return later this month", while QPR expect Poku to return to training in February.
Meanwhile, attacking midfielder Ilias Chair and centre-back Jake Clarke-Salter are expected to return to first-team training later this month, following their respective injuries.
The Rs begin their FA Cup campaign at West Ham in the third round on Sunday.
