Port Vale sign Luton winger Archer on loan

Port Vale have signed winger Ethon Archer on loan from fellow League One side Luton Town for the remainder of the season.

Vale are 11 points from safety at the bottom of the table and 23-year-old Archer is new boss Jon Brady's first signing since taking over.

Archer made his first-team debut for the Hatters in their EFL Vertu Trophy defeat by Swindon on 13 January, having joined the club from Cheltenham Town in September.

He spent a season with the Robins in League Two in 2024-25 and returned there on loan for the first half of this term, scoring twice in 18 league games.
