Fleetwood forward Lewis McCann will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken fibula in the FA Cup defeat at Port Vale.
The 24-year-old had to be stretchered off after sustaining the injury in the first half at Vale Park on Friday.
McCann joined the Cod Army from Dunfermline last summer and has scored once in 15 league appearances this season.
"He's out for the season, which is gutting. I genuinely thought we had a plan there going forward, and now it's back to the drawing board," boss Pete Wild told the club website., external
