Former Northampton Town promotion winner John-Joe O'Toole is to make a comeback with non-league AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The 37-year-old, who helped the Cobblers to promotion from League Two in 2016, made 10 appearances for AFC Wimbledon last season, scoring once, before being released.
He has now joined a Diamonds side 14th in Northern Premier League Division One Midlands.
"A legend in the area, he has made nearly 500 league appearances across his career, including promotion at Northampton Town," the club posted on X.
"John-Joe joins to give us the reinforcement and experience needed to kick on in the second half the season."
O'Toole began his career at Watford, where he played in the Championship, before moving on to clubs including Colchester United, Bristol Rovers, Burton Albion and Mansfield Town.
He was named in the PFA League Two team of the year in 2014 and 2016.
