Grimsby re-sign Barnsley keeper Smith on loan

Grimsby Town have re-signed Barnsley goalkeeper Jackson Smith on a seven-day emergency loan.
The 24-year-old played seven games for the Mariners during a previous loan spell last season, six of them in League Two.
A product of the Wolves youth set-up, Smith joined Barnsley from Walsall in the summer of 2024 but has only made six appearances for the League One club.
Grimsby are 14th in the table going into Saturday's lunchtime kick-off away game against Bromley.
