Berrada and Wilcox need to make right call for Man Utd

With the Burnley trip out of the way and Darren Fletcher confirmed as remaining in interim charge for the FA Cup tie with Brighton, Manchester United's hierarchy can concentrate on sorting out who takes over on a caretaker basis until the end of the season.
It is a decision they need to get right.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has presided over too many bad calls since he came in as minority owner two years ago – including the arrival and exit – both for compensation of Dan Ashworth as the overseer of change.
It was Ashworth who advised that appointing Ruben Amorim in mid-season was a mistake. He has now returned to the FA.
Some fans made their views clear at Turf Moor last night when they held up a banner criticising Ratcliffe. They also sang a vicious song against co-chairman Joel Glazer, which, admittedly is nothing new.
Ole Gunnar Solskaer and Michael Carrick are the front-runners for the caretaker role until the end of the season. However, with United slipping to seventh ahead of fixtures against Manchester City and Arsenal, and European qualification crucial, the pressure is on Ratcliffe, chief executive Omar Berrada and director of football Jason Wilcox to deliver.
