Promotion-chasing Lincoln City have taken up contract options which will keep Tendayi Darikwa, Reeco Hackett and Conor McGrandles at the club until the end of next season.

Darikwa joined the Imps from Cypriot club Limassol in the summer of 2024 and has made 30 appearances this season, scoring three goals.

Fellow midfielder McGrandles has played 29 games in the current campaign, having signed from Charlton Athletic, also in 2024.

Forward Hackett has been with Lincoln for two-and-a-half years and has found the net seven times in 25 appearances this term.

"We are looking to strengthen the group in this transfer window, but to do that we must also ensure that we do not weaken ourselves by losing any of our core senior players," said sporting director Jez George.

"All three fall into that bracket, all have been instrumental in our season to date, and all have a massive role to play for the remainder of this season."

Lincoln are second in League One, four points behind leaders Cardiff City and unbeaten in their last eight matches.

They are away at Luton Town on Saturday (15:00 GMT).
