Tranmere defender McGowan extends stay until summer

Tranmere Rovers defender Aaron McGowan has extended his contract at Prenton Park until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old joined Rovers on a short-term deal in October after leaving Northampton Town in the summer.

He has made 13 appearances in all competitions for the League Two side.
