Jersey Bulls Women ended 2025 with a perfect record as they recorded their ninth win from nine games in English league football this season.
The islanders won 3-0 at Fleet Town in South East Counties Womens Football League Surrey Division One thanks to Leah Morris' hat-trick.
Morris gave the island side a 16th-minute lead in Hampshire as she chipped the goalkeeper, before doubling the tally five minutes later with a similar finish.
She completed her treble in style 10 minutes into the second half when she pounced on a stray pass before putting it over the goalkeeper from 40 yards.
The win saw the Bulls open up a six-point lead at the top of the table after second-placed Meadow Sports were beaten 2-1 at home by Hartland, who are sixth.
It is the first time a women's team from Jersey have had regular fixtures in an English league.
Bulls resume their campaign on 11 January with a trip to Hartland.
