Jersey Bulls moved into the top 10 in Isthmian League South East after a 3-0 win over Broadbridge Heath at Springfield.
Lorne Bickley had an 18th minute goal ruled out for offside as the islanders started well.
Miguel Carvalho and Luke Campbell went close soon after, while Bickley dragged a shot just wide shortly before the end of a goalless opening half.
It took just 55 seconds of the second half for Bulls to go ahead as Lewis Hyde slid Francis Lekimamati’s low cross from the right into his own net.
Four minutes later it was 2-0 as the impressive James Sunley picked up a poor pass outside the box and fired in a precise right-footed effort into the bottom corner.
Jersey were indebted to centre-back Campbell to keep their clean sheet as he cleared Louis Evans’ shot off the line after goalkeeper Pierce Roche had given the ball away with 10 minutes left.
Bulls’ win was completed when Miguel Carvalho headed in a third five minutes later after Joe Kilshaw’s shot had been saved.
Jay Giles should have made it 4-0 in stoppage time but fired wide after being found unmarked at the far post.
The win sees Bulls leapfrog Broadbridge Heath and move from 11th to 8th place in the table, nine points off the play-off places with a game in hand.
