Huddersfield Town have signed Cardiff City goalkeeper Jak Alnwick for an undisclosed fee on an 18-month deal and Ipswich midfielder Cameron Humphreys on loan until the end of the season.

Alnwick, 32, started his career with Newcastle United and has made 273 league appearances.

Humphreys, 22, worked with Town boss Lee Grant at Ipswich and played 42 times in League One during a loan spell with Wycombe last season.

Meanwhile, Town have terminated the season-long loan of Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman and sold midfielder Ben Wiles to League Two MK Dons.

Goodman, 22, played 12 times for Town but last featured in the 3-3 draw with AFC Wimbledon on 29 November.

Wiles joined from Rotherham in August 2023 and the 26-year-old made 97 league appearances.
