Elliot Powell hailed his depleted Jersey Bulls side as they won 5-0 at bottom of the table East Grinstead Town in Isthmian League South East.
Luke Watson headed the islanders into a 38th-minute lead before Bulls goalkeeper Pierce Roche saved a penalty on the stroke of half-time.
James Queree converted a 49th-minute penalty for the islanders, who wrapped up the win with three goals in the final 13 minutes.
Miguel Carvalho tapped in after good work by Luke Coutanche, who also set up Toby Ritzema to make it 4-0 with 10 minutes left.
Will Yates completed the rout in the 89th minute with a fine curling effort.
The win moves Bulls up to seventh place in the table, nine points off the play-off places with a game in hand.
"We were missing eight players today," Powell told BBC Radio jersey.
"So for us to come to any team in step four - yes East Grinstead are struggling, but you look at the amount of players they've just signed and some of the quality they had on the pitch today - and put in such a dominant display was really pleasing."
Powell was also keen to praise goalkeeper Roche - as well as his penalty save he also produced a number of decent stops during the match to help Bulls keep a second successive clean sheet.
"There's a key moment in the game where you know if we go in 1-1 then it's a very different story," he said.
"For Pierce to step up with a big save - there's a lot been said about Pierce and he knows more than anyone that there's a couple of goals he could have done a little bit better with - but I think two games, two clean sheets now and today he's made a match-defining save which we're really pleased with.
"I think that's Pierce's best performance of the season and it set up a solid foundation."
