Southampton winger Ryan Fraser has joined Australian A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers.
The 31-year-old Scotland international, who won the last of his 26 caps in November 2022, has agreed a deal until the end of the current A-League season.
The former Bournemouth and Newcastle United winger had spent the past two-and-a-half years with the Saints.
He initially joined on a season-long loan in August 2023, helping Southampton win promotion back to the Premier League in May 2024 thanks to a Championship play-off final win over Leeds United at Wembley.
He made his move permanent that summer and in total played 72 times, scoring nine goals.
"I wanted to do something different, out of my comfort zone, and instead of signing for another club in the English Championship after already playing in England for 13 years, I felt this opportunity was too good to turn down to help the club get back to where they want to be," Fraser told the Western Sydney Wanderers website., external
