Alex McCarthy just pipped centre-back Jack Stephens to take your man of the match award
He made six saves as Southampton repelled 26 attempts on goal to take a superb 1-0 win over former champions Manchester City live on BBC One on Sunday evening.
So it was no surprise that goalkeeper Alex McCarthy was chosen as your man of the match with a very high score of 8.86.
All of the Saints came out strongly though, with the average score for the starting XI a whopping 8.38.
Manchester City did not fare so well though - their highest score was given to David Silva, and he could only muster 4.72.
