Struggling Wrexham secured their second successive win to move out of the bottom four with a hard fought victory against promotion chasing Solihull Moors.

Omari Patrick showed composure to find the bottom corner from the edge of the area to put Wrexham ahead.

James Jennings' fine goal against the run of play at the end of the first half doubled their lead.

Wrexham are 20th while Solihull drop down to fifth in the National League.

Wrexham manager Dean Keeates said: "What a difference a week makes. Two wins on the bounce, it's positive going forward and it's a building block.

"For me it's the best result (of his second spell). We knew what we'd be up against. They're strong, physical and put you under immense pressure.

"But to a man I thought my players dealt with it."
