Bradford City will have home advantage for an FA Cup first round replay after a 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury.

Aramide Oteh gave the visitors the lead before Josh Laurent equalised for Shrewsbury, who are 11th in League One.

Bradford, flying high in League Two, went ahead in the 19th minute when Oteh intercepted an attempted header back to his goalkeeper by Aaron Pierre and confidently beat Joe Murphy.

Shrewsbury were back on level terms within nine minutes when Shaun Whalley's cross from the right was headed down by Scott Golbourne and Laurent swept an equaliser past goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell.

Laurent saw a shot from 20 yards deflected narrowly wide before Sean Goss tested O'Donnell from a similar distance.

Bradford's Danny Devine then fired a volley goalwards which was well dealt with by Murphy.

The visitors had a good chance early in the second half when Dylan Connolly was sent clear but he placed his effort wide as Murphy came out.

Ollie Norburn then drove a shot wide for Shrewsbury before Fejiri Okenabirhie lifted a shot over the bar.

Bradford were close to regaining the lead when Ben Richards-Everton headed against a post.
