Women's Super League: Bristol City 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur

  • Published

Two stunning strikes in two minutes from Kit Graham helped Tottenham come from behind to win at Bristol City.

The hosts - now without a win in eight Women's Super League matches - went ahead when Abi Harrison fired high into the net after a goalmouth scramble.

Graham's 25-yard thunderbolt drew Spurs level in the second half and moments later she curled in her second.

Rachel Furness saw her penalty saved by City keeper Sophie Baggaley after Graham was fouled by Yana Daniels.

Carla Humphrey had a chance to level for the hosts but her strike from distance went well wide.

Earlier, Spurs had made the better start as Ria Percival shot just over from inside the box and then hit the back post with a cross from the right.

Victory for Tottenham was their third since promotion to the top flight, while Bristol City are still searching for their first win of the season.
