Yeovil Town 1-2 Harrogate Town

  • Published

Harrogate extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a National League win at in-form Yeovil.

In a tight first period, the Glovers came close to finding the opening goal.

Goalkeeper James Belshaw's crucial glove on Courtney Duffus' effort was enough to enable Connor Hall to clear off his line.

Simon Weaver's men capitalised on their luck in the second half and Brendan Kiernan steered in the opener from an acute angle on the left of the 12-yard box.

Within minutes a second sucker punch followed as Mark Beck pinched possession and teed up strike partner Jack Muldoon to place home.

Rhys Murphy pulled one back late on for Yeovil but it was not enough.
