High-flying Halifax suffered another defeat as Kyle Wootton secured a 1-0 win for 10-man Notts County.
Wootton struck 10 minutes after Michael Doyle saw red as the visitors suffered a second defeat in as many weeks and slipped down to third in the National League.
The hosts were reduced to 10 men two minutes into the second period when Doyle was shown a straight red for a challenge on Charlie Cooper.
But they took the lead soon after when Wootton tapped in the rebound after Wes Thomas had been denied by visiting goalkeeper Sam Johnson.
And Halifax could not break down their opponents and slipped behind Bromley in the table.
