FC Halifax Town 0-0 Havant & Waterlooville

Halifax secured a determined goalless draw at home to Havant & Waterlooville after playing the last hour with 10 men.

The Shaymen's day was complicated when James Berrett was sent off in the 32nd minute for tripping Theo Lewis on a dangerous run into home territory.

Jamie Fullarton commanded his side to buckle up and retreat into defensive mode. They did so with great discipline, and indeed could have taken a first-half lead - but for a fine last-ditch tackle by Dan Strugnell on Jonathan Edwards.

In the second half, Halifax showed immense resilience to stay marginally in control, and substitute Jordan Preston could have won it but for a fine tip over by Ben Dudzinski.
