Jayden Stockley's 15th strike of the season makes him League Two's joint top scorer

Jayden Stockley struck his 15th goal of the season with two minutes remaining to earn a 2-1 win for Exeter City over West Country neighbours Yeovil.

Exeter dominated the first half without creating too many clear-cut chances before breaking the deadlock after 35 minutes.

Pierce Sweeney's overlapping run created the space for Lee Holmes to cut infield and, from the corner of the penalty box, he curled a delightful shot over the head of Stuart Nelson and into the far top corner - an almost identical goal to Lee Martin's winner against Crewe in Exeter's last home game.

Yeovil barely threatened, coming closest with two wild Sessi D'Almeida efforts high and wide, but they levelled things up with a fine goal of their own in the 54th minute.

A corner was cleared as far as Tom James some 25 yards out and he took one touch to kill the ball dead before curling a delightful shot into the bottom corner.

The game seemed destined for a draw, with so few chances created. But, in the 88th minute Dean Moxey's shot was blocked on the line and the ball fell at the feet of top scorer Stockley, who made no mistake from eight yards.
