A superb free-kick by Kenny Davis rescued a point for Sutton in their home game with Solihull Moors.
The match came alive with two goals in three minutes just after the half-hour mark.
Jamey Osborne gave Solihull the lead when his precise shot found the bottom corner in the 33rd minute but the lead lasted just three minutes as Wayne Brown was in the right place at the right time to score after Craig Dundas' shot was initially blocked.
Four minutes into the second half, Osborne put Solihull ahead for the second time in the game. Following George Carline's long throw, Osborne scored his third goal of the season.
Osborne missed out on a hat-trick when his effort in the 53rd minute was cleared off the line and Sutton salvaged a point in the 73rd minute courtesy of Davis.
