Kemar Roofe controversially scored with his arm as Leeds United came from behind to draw with Nottingham Forest.
The 25-year-old diverted Mateusz Klich's cross in with his forearm at the far post, sparking fierce protests from the Forest players and bench.
Referee Geoff Eltringham consulted with his assistant before giving the goal - although Roofe did admit after the match that the ball had struck his hand.
"I just saw the ball flash across and the ball hit my hand," he told Sky Sports. "Call it ball to hand, it's a goal, it's up to the ref to give it and he gave it."
The visitors had earlier gone in front when defender Jack Robinson held off Stuart Dallas from a corner to flick a header into the bottom corner.
Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds are second in the table, missing out on the victory they needed to return to the summit, while Forest remain two points from the play-offs.
Robinson's first goal for the club looked like being enough for their third consecutive away win, with Aitor Karanka's side defending brilliantly at Elland Road throughout.
Forest goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon tipped Hernandez's deflected strike wide in the a first half featuring only two shots on target, but Leeds were largely restricted to long-range efforts.
Substitute Jack Clarke, 17, provided a spark for Leeds, firing just wide from outside the area, but the hosts did not look like scoring until Roofe's intervention.
Forest could have left empty-handed but Hernandez was just off-target with a skilful low shot from Ezgjan Alioski's low cross.
