A Stephen O'Donnell header 11 minutes from time gave 10-man Coleraine a derby draw against Ballymena United after Eoin Bradley had been sent off.

Champions Crusaders lost 3-2 away to Dungannon Swifts.

Lindsay named new manager of Dungannon

Fourth defeat of season for Crues

The Crues looked like they had earned a draw after coming back from two goals down, but an injury-time penalty from Paul McElroy won it for the Swifts, who announced Kris Lindsay as their new manager after Tuesday night's match.

It's a fourth league defeat of the season for Stephen Baxter's men, who are now nine points behind the leaders.

Ryan Harpur gave the Swifts a 1-0 half-time lead with a lovely shot from the edge of the box and Daniel Hughes doubled the lead with a penalty early in the second half.

The Crues drew level with two goals in two minutes. Kris Lowe headed into his own net on 76 minutes to bring them into the game before Paul Heatley hooked home a spectacular equaliser.

Colin Coates was then adjudged to have brought down sub Johnny Lafferty in injury time and fellow sub McElroy scored the winner from the spot to give the Swifts their first win of the season and lift them off the bottom of the table.

Glenavon's victory over Ards in Bangor means Gary Hamilton's men are now unbeaten in the league since the opening day of the season.

Stephen Murray gave them an early lead from the spot after Josh Daniels was fouled in the box by Josh Kelly.

Murray drilled the spot-kick low into the bottom corner for what was the first goal Ards keeper Sam Johnston had conceded in 384 minutes.

The second from Mitchell came deep into the second half and it was a touch of quality from the frontman.

He controlled well with his back to goal before turning to fire home his third goal of the season.

Tony Kane opened the scoring for visitors Ballymena in the derby when he found the net with an audacious left-foot strike from 25 yards in the eighth minute.

The Bannsiders were then reduced to 10 men when Bradley received his marching orders for striking Jim Ervin.

McCauley equalised for Rodney McAree's men with a strike to equal Kane's when he cut inside from the left to unleash an unstoppable long-range drive.

Andy McGrory restored the Sky Blues' lead when he drilled home the rebound from the edge of the box after Johnny McMurray's effort was saved.

McMurray then missed a gilt-edged chance to extend United's lead before O'Donnell rose in the box to head home the equaliser from a corner and move Coleraine up to third.
