Doncaster Rovers 2-1 Bradford City

A John Marquis double helped Doncaster to victory against Bradford, whose search for a first win under David Hopkin continues.

Scoring either side of half-time, Marquis put Rovers in command before George Miller pulled a late goal back for the visitors.

Doncaster took the lead when James Coppinger found Marquis, who smashed a shot into the top corner from the edge of the area.

Bradford will feel aggrieved to have not been awarded a penalty when Joe Wright appeared to haul down Eoin Doyle early in the second half.

Doncaster then put daylight between themselves and the visitors as Matty Blair and Coppinger combined, before Herbie Kane slid a pass through for Marquis to drill home from 15 yards.

Bradford ensured a nervy finish when they pulled a goal back late on, substitute Miller beating goalkeeper Marko Marosi to a long ball and slotting into an empty net, but Rovers held on to secure a third straight win.
