Josh Umerah's late double saw Boreham Wood come from behind to beat high-flying FC Halifax Town.
Halifax hit a post after just four minutes when Jonathan Edwards met Matty Kosylo's cross but saw his shot deflected on to an upright.
A game of half-chances then came alive in the final 20 minutes. Nathan Clarke headed Halifax in front when he met Ben Tomlinson's corner with a strong header.
But Umerah opened his account for the club in fine style seven minutes later, hitting a rocket from the edge of the area, and he won it from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time after Tom Champion was brought down.
