Woking live to fight another day after substitute Richard Orlu's late header snatched a 2-1 victory at Guiseley and kept them level on points with fifth-bottom Barrow.
After a quiet start to the game, Woking took the lead in the 26th minute when Charlie Carter slotted home his 12th goal of the season.
Chances were at a premium until the home side levelled just after the hour, Dayle Southwell picking his spot with a superb finish from the right side of the area.
Woking snatched the lead five minutes from time when Orlu headed home a corner with his first touch and they held on to keep themselves in with a chance of beating the drop - although Barrow have two matches remaining.
