Macclesfield Town 0-0 Solihull Moors

National League leaders Macclesfield were held to a goalless draw by struggling Solihull at Moss Rose.

Macclesfield were on top in the early stages and could have broken the deadlock after 16 minutes but Tyrone Marsh's effort was blocked on the line.

Solihull immediately launched an attack of their own, with a long throw from goalkeeper Max O'Leary finding Oladapo Afolayan, who burst forward and forced a good save from home keeper Sam Ramsbottom.

The hosts nearly opened the scoring eight minutes after the break when Elliott Durrell had two shots on goal but Solihull were able to block both efforts.

Shepherd Murombedzi had a chance to win it for the visitors six minutes before the end but his shot was saved by Ramsbottom before Noe Baba cleared the ball to safety.
