Barrow 3-1 Aldershot Town

Adi Yussuf netted a hat-trick as Barrow started life under Ady Pennock with victory over Aldershot.

Pennock, named as Micky Moore's successor on Friday, saw his side claim their first win in 11 matches in all competitions to climb back out of the relegation zone.

Yussuf opened the scoring in the fifth minute before adding his second six minutes before the interval.

Scott Rendell got the final touch to half the deficit shortly after half-time.

But Yussuf completed his hat-trick in the 65th minute when he shrugged off a defender and rounded goalkeeper Mark Smith to score.
