
Nigeria Under-17s remain on course to retain the World Cup
Nigeria eased past Brazil 3-0 and Mali edged out Croatia 1-0 to reach the semi-finals of the Under-17 World Cup.
Holders Nigeria once again showed their ruthlessness as they scored all their goals in three first-half minutes to end Brazil's challenge.
Victor Osimhen, with his eighth goal in five games, Kingsley Michael and Udochukwu Anumudu were the scorers.
For Mali, Sekou Koita struck the winner, and their superb defence has not conceded for almost five hours.
Mali will now face Belgium, who beat Costa Rica 1-0 in their quarter-final. Nigeria have a meeting with Mexico, who beat Ecuador 2-0 in the other last-eight tie.
